ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival in Tirgu Mures airport, transfer to hotel. Dinner & overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast , leave from Tirgu Mures to Sighisoara , one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe - the only one still inhabited. Short city tour with visit of fortress , Citadel, the 14thc. Clock Tower , Tailor’s Tower and Count Dracula's birth house. Lunch at the restaurant opened right in the house where the famous figure Vlad de Impaler ( Dracu ) was born.
Departure to Poiana Brasov , a very famous mountain resort for a short visit. Dinner with folklore program at the restaurant Cetate – Cerbul Carpatin – Overnight in hotel in Brasov.
Day 3
After breakfast , visit the baroque downtown of Brasov with the Council Plaza, City Hall, St. Catherine’s Gate , Weaver’s Bastion and the gothic Black Church that houses a priceless collection of Oriental rugs as well as a 4000-pipe organ. Departure to the famous Sinaia Resort. Visit the Peles Castle (the summer residence of the former Romanian royal family) and Sinaia Monastery. Lunch in Sinaia. Departure to Bucharest.
Dinner and overnight in hotel in Bucharest.
Day 4
Breakfast. A four-hour tour of Bucharest is the perfect way to familiarize you with this five-century old City. You'll visit ancient ruins as well as the more recent historical monuments: Old Princely Court, the Village Museum, the Cotroceni Palace, and the Athenaeum. You'll also have the opportunity to see the massive reconstruction of Bucharest that took place in Ceausescu's last years in power, including the awe-inspiring House of the Republic, nowadays the Parliament Palace. Lunch. Departure to Tulcea, a important harbour used as a departure point for numerous cruises on the Danube , hunting and fishing programes. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel/ pension in Delta.
Day 5-8
Leisure time for fishing and discovering the paradise called Delta Dunarii , cruise on the Danube. Accommodations in hotels or pensions in Delta , with half board basis all full board basis.
Day 9
After breakfast, departure to Bucharest. Diner and overnight in hotel in Bucharest.
Day 10
Breakfast. Transfer to airport in Bucharest.
